Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Local Plan

The WIA Plan describes how the South Central Workforce Development Area (WDA) fits into a regional plan to invest in strategic industries that will grow regional economies. WIA provides a focus for the development of workforce investment systems that cover the entire WDA. This focus is dependent on thinking and planning strategically and developing a vision of how each area’s workforce investment system will look over the next year and how it will best meet the vision set forth in the state plan.
