Mission
The Health Care Workforce Alliance promotes a stronger, mutually supportive workforce development system where employers, workers, and workforce education and training providers collaborate synergistically to build skills, productivity, service quality, and training efficacy. This effort will strengthen our health care delivery organizations, enhance career opportunities for residents, improve healthcare delivery outcomes, and support the physical and economic health of our communities.

GovernanceMembership is composed of representatives from the Health Care Industry, and other organizations playing a supportive role to the Health Care Industry such as: Education, Economic Development, Labor, Workforce Development and Community-Based Organizations.

Committee Work
Clinical Passport Ad Hoc CommitteeThe Clinical Passport Ad Hoc Committee will work to develop a standardized set of information that students need to complete before entering clinicals.
Grants CommitteeThe Grants Subcommittee examines the investments to date and the investments impact and ask the question "what next?" This committee will be making recommendations to the Executive Committee and the full Alliance as to what additional financial resources need to be sought to forward the Alliance's work.
Resource Mapping CommitteeThe Resource Mapping Subcommittee is working to map efforts of workforce development for health care within in the region and at the state level. Explore the map to find health care workforce development offerings for K-12 students, pre-health professionals, and incumbent workers across the state.
