Current State of Health Care
The demand for health care services will continue to increase as our population grows and as we live longer. Advances in technology allow health care professionals to prevent, diagnose, and manage health and illness better than ever before, but they are creating challenges for society and the health care industry itself. As a result, health care organizations need an ever increasing workforce with ever increasing skills.
Industry Insight
Between 2006 and 2016, the Wisconsin's Department of Workforce Development projects an employment increase of 3.9% for the health care sector in a span of just two years, which is over twice the rate of the increase for all industries combined. |
