The Transitional Jobs Program can help you add and train new workers without the costs or the risks--all while helping people get back to work. The program, launched by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, aims to help people across the state who have been unemployed for a long period of time gain skills and re-enter the workforce.

Transitional Jobs provides businesses like yours with an opportunity to reinvest in your business and community by providing a quality work site for workers.

How does it work?

Simply tell us your workforce needs and we'll recruit and screen workers for you. We hire and pay worker wages and payroll taxes for up to 1,040 hours of work. (That's six months of workforce support for your business.) You supervise workers to get them up to speed and get the job done.
