Why Ag Initiative attempts to get students gaga over agriculture

Why agriculture? Why not?

A push is starting later this month to get more students connected with the state's $59 billion agriculture, food and natural resources industries. The Why Ag Initiative was announced Wednesday by the Wisconsin Agricultural Education and Workforce Development Council (WAEWDC).

The initiative, funded through the Workforce Investment Act and the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin is designed to get students and others interested in job opportunities in the diversified and growing agriculture field.
