This is a list of the current programs and initiatives we are involved with. We work with a number of organizations to best serve various populations within our community. As we receive new grants and workforce needs change, our programs do as well.
Prior to release, participants receive career coaching and supportive services to assist their transition into society.
UW Health Fast Forward
Apprenticeship program through UW Health that provides training to un- or under-employed workers to become Ophthalmology Assistants.
HCWP
Increases the number of individuals trained and hired in highway construction trades.
ABA2
The Apprenticeship Building America, Round 2 (ABA2) Grant is helping to expand and create healthcare apprenticeships.
Wisconsin Biohealth Tech Hub
The Biohealth Tech Hub project aims to create workforce opportunities in the fields of biotechnology, healthcare, and manufacturing.
