About Us

Who We Are & What We Do

At WDBSCW, we believe in the power of community. As a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we have been serving south central Wisconsin since 1983, providing specialized employment and training services that uplift individuals and grow local industries.

Our efforts are targeted to support career exploration and work-based learning opportunities, the pursuit of skills training to earn degrees and certificates, and collaboration to create innovative talent retention and development initiatives.

The foundation of our work rests on collaborations with our WorkSmart Network service providers through a mix of work-based learning, business engagements, skill development and career services.

We proudly support our region's American Job Centers and the WorkSmart Network, ensuring that everyone has access to vital workforce development services.
